How to Register for CBI Internet Banking?

Let’s take the example of a State Bank of India account holder; in case he/ she wanted to open an FD/ RD, he/ she was, in earlier times, required to visit the bank as per the bank timings, considering the SBI Lunch Time as well. But now, after the introduction of Internet banking, there is no need to visit the bank. Now, bank services can be availed from the convenience of your mobile phone sitting at home. One of those services is registering for Central Bank Internet Banking. Let us discuss the process in detail:

Step 1: Open the website of the Central Bank of India to avail Internet banking (https://www.centralbank.net.in/#/)

Step 2: Under the tab “Quick Links and Services, choose the option “Application Form”.

Step 3: Now choose one option from “Personal Internet Banking” or “Corporate Internet Banking”.

Step 4: Download the application form.

Step 5: Fill out the printout of the form taken.

Step 6: Submit the same to the nearest branch of the Central Bank.

Step 7: The bank will start with the activation process of Internet banking.

Step 8: The bank will provide you with a User ID and Password, which the applicant can use to log in to the net banking portal.

Steps to Login CBI Bank Personal Internet Banking?

Mentioned below are the steps to log in to the personal banking of CBI:

  • Open the CBI website for internet banking (https://www.centralbank.net.in/#/).
  • Under “Personal Banking”, click “Login”.
  • Provide your User ID and password along with the captcha code.
  • Click “Continue”.
  • Provide the mobile number that is registered with the bank.
  • To complete the account verification, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • Click “Submit”.

Steps to Login CBI Bank Corporate Internet Banking?

Mentioned below are the steps to log in to the corporate banking of CBI:

  • Open the CBI website for internet banking (https://www.centralbank.net.in/#/).
  • Under “Corporate Banking”, click “Login”.
  • Provide your Corporate ID, User ID and password, along with the captcha code.
  • Click “Proceed”.
  • Provide the mobile number that is registered with the bank.
  • To complete the account verification, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • Click “Submit”.

Steps to Generate CBI Internet Banking Password?

Mentioned below are the steps to generate the password for CBI internet banking:

  • Open the login page of CBI internet banking.
  • Click on the tab “Generate Online Password”.
  • Provide the 10-digit CIF number along with the registered mobile number.
  • Now, click the option “Generate Password”.
  • Click on “Next”.
  • Provide the OTP received on your registered phone number.
  • Create a new password of your choice.
  • Confirm the new password and click “Submit”.

Steps to Add Beneficiary for CBI Internet Banking

Mentioned below are the steps to generate the password for CBI Internet banking:

  • Log in to CBI’s net banking.
  • Click “Funds Transfer” and click “Add a Beneficiary”.
  • Select either “Within CBI” or “Outside CBI”.
  • Enter the IFSC code of the branch in which the beneficiary maintains the account.
  • Provide all the details required.
  • Click “Submit”.
  • The beneficiary will be added successfully.

Steps to Create a Transaction Password Beneficiary for CBI Internet Banking

Mentioned below are the steps to create a transaction password for CBI Internet banking:

  • Log into CBI’s net banking using your User ID and password.
  • Click “Generate Transaction Password”.
  • Provide the mobile number registered with the bank.
  • Provide the OTP received on the mobile number registered with the bank.
  • Set a new T-PIN, i.e. Transaction Password.
  • Re-enter the transaction password to confirm.

Steps to Create Transfer Funds through CBI Internet Banking

To Other CBI Accounts:

  • Open the CBI website for internet banking (https://www.centralbank.net.in/#/).
  • Click “Transactions”.
  • Under the option “Transactions”, click the “Within CBI” tab to transfer funds to some other CBI account.
  • Choose the beneficiary to whom funds are to be transferred from the list of beneficiaries.
  • If the beneficiary is not added, first select the option “Add beneficiary” by entering his/ her account number, the beneficiary’s name, and the IFSC Code.
  • Now, the amount to be transferred should be entered along with the date of the transaction.
  • Click “Continue”.
  • Now, provide your T-PIN to complete the transfer of funds.

To Other Bank Accounts:

Mentioned below are the steps to transfer funds via NEFT/ IMPS/ RTGS:

  • Open the CBI website for Personal Banking or Corporate Banking.
  • Under “Transactions”, choose NEFT/ IMPS/ RTGS.
  • Choose the beneficiary to whom the funds are to be transferred from the list of beneficiaries.
  • If the beneficiary is not added, first select the option “Add beneficiary” by entering his/ her account number, the beneficiary’s name, and the IFSC Code.
  • Now, the amount to be transferred should be entered along with the date of the transaction.
  • Click “Continue”.
  • Now, provide your T-PIN to complete the transfer of funds.

How to Open a CBI Savings Account Online?

Mentioned below are the steps to open a savings account in CBI online:

  • Log in to the CBI web portal, i.e., the online savings account portal.
  • Fill out the form available for account opening.
  • Once the form is submitted, the bank will process the request for account opening.
  • The account opening status can be checked through the same portal.
